what do we believe?

We believe that there is only one God, creator of heaven and earth, who exists eternally as three persons - Father, Son (Jesus Christ), and Holy Spirit, each fully God yet each personally distinct from the other.

We believe that Jesus Christ was born of the Virgin Mary, lived a sinless human life but willingly took our sins on His shoulders by dying in our place so that we could gain entry to heaven. He rose from the dead demonstrating that He had victory over death itself.

We believe that the Bible is God’s word to His people. We believe that it contains powerful, unchanging truths that can change people’s lives.

We believe that prayer is key for for our communication with God. We believe God answers prayer in many different ways.

We believe that God loves people and offers an invitation to everyone, regardless of race, gender or culture, to accept Jesus and gain entry to eternal life in Heaven.

We believe that The Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin and draws people to Christ. The Holy Spirit moves and empowers followers of Christ to lead Christ-like lives giving them spiritual gifts with which to serve God, the church and reach out to the world, wherever he wants us to go. 

We believe that the local church is a congregation of believers who gather for worship, prayer, instruction, encouragement, mutual accountability, and community with each other. Thus strengthened believers then seek to fulfil the Great Commission — to bring the good news of Jesus to those in need.

We believe that everyone deserves a chance to hear the good news that Jesus Christ offers to each and every one of us.
